ALL registrations must be made via Squadi. Make sure you select "Diggers Football Club Bundaberg" as your organisation. Those that played the 2023 season can log in as an "Exisiting Member". Any new players must create a new User Profile. 

*Please note: fees must be paid during the registration process either by Direct Debit or Credit/Debit Card. Fees can be paid in full or in instalments via Squadi.

**Those eligible for the QLD Government FairPlay vouchers must present their voucher number during registration process on Squadi. 

$150 FairPlay Vouchers

QLD Government Vouchers up to $150 to go towards registration fees for eligible players/ family. 

Round 10 OPEN for parents, carers or guardians to apply for vouchers

  • 1 May 2024: Round 10 applications close

  • 29 May 2024: Round 9 and 10 vouchers must be presented to an activity provider.

Please note that Diggers FC tries to keep fees as low as possible for its members and only retains approximately $70-$100 of the overall player fees which are used to maintain, operate and provide equipment and the facilities for its members.

Important Player Information

All players must wear shin pads and football boots. These can be purchased at any sports store. 


All players must also purchase club playing shorts and socks (compulsory) if you do not already have any. The Club polo and other merchandise is optional. All merchandise is to be ordered and collected through Stormers Sports.

Exisiting players (all juniors and seniors) can wear their same shorts and socks as last season. For those exisiting players or new players that require new socks or shorts for the 2024 season please order online through Stormers Sports.


WINTER MERCHANDISE: Hoodies, Jackets and Long Sleeve Tees are now available for pre-order!

The online store will close on Tuesday 26 April and we estimate the merchandise will be ready to collect from Stormers Sports on 31 MAY.

This will be the last merchandise order for the year for ALL ITEMS!

Bucket hats, shorts, socks, polos and singlets are also available to purchase.

MERCHANDISE UPDATE: Please check your emails (including junk mail) for order collection notifications from Stormers Sports. SOME orders are ready to collect!

Please note not all orders will be fulfilled fully by the start of the season. But all sock orders will be fulfilled.


  • MINIROOS (U5-U12) can wear plain shorts (preferably black or green) for the first few weeks until your Diggers FC shorts arrive.


  • U14/U15 & SENIORS we will endeavour to supply temporary/spare shorts to all coaches for those that do not have the correct playing shorts. These will be supplied at the game on the day.

2024 Season Start Dates

  • All teams from U8 to Seniors commence Fri 8 - Sat 9 March. The draw will be available via the Squadi App

  • Teams in U5-U7 will commence their season after Easter. The date is still to be confirmed by FQWB. We will send an updated once we know the date.


ALL GAMES (unless otherwise stated) are played at Football Bundaberg, Martens Oval (Corner of Maynard and Miller Street, Bundaberg QLD 4670). 


Please note that ALL Under 5 – Under 12 players meet at the field they are playing on for the day AND ALL competition ages Under 13 – Seniors meet at the Diggers FC dressing sheds (near Field 2/ Bar) prior to their games.


Please check with your coach if you are unsure what time they would like you at the game/ fields. 

Game times can be found via the Squadi App (once the draw has been released in late February/ Early March)

The season starts and finishes at different times depending on age/division. For most players, the season will start in March and will end in September.

Diggers FC Wet Weather Policy, for training, is as follows:

Training for ALL junior teams (U6-U16) will be cancelled when there is a Heavy Storm &/or Constant Lightning during training, flooding or constant soaking rain. A light shower will NOT cause cancellation. Coaching staff and social media will be notified, no later than 1 hour prior to training. Please check our Facebook page first ( Diggers Football Club ), before contacting coaching staff. Senior training will be at the discretion of the senior coaching staff.

Game Days
FQWB control the grounds that we play on. Their ground staff, along with the head of referees, will make a decision, when there is adverse weather conditions that deem the fields unsafe to play on. FQWB will also use their website to inform all members of field closures. Please go to Diggers Facebook page will also advertise, once informed by FQWB. If there is NO cancellation, on FQWB website, games are on. Any changes during game day will be decided on, by the match officials, at the venue.
