*All members are required to have new socks & shorts as new sponsorship agreements & designs vary from previous years, as such your sock purchase has been included in your fee price.

  • Mens WBL & Local Senior Mens - Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:15pm-8:30pm 

 

  • Ladies - Wednesdays 6:15pm-8:00pm 

 

  • Local Junior Competition U13-U17 Tuesdays 4:30pm-6:00pm

 

  • MiniRoos U11 & U12 - Tuesdays  (U11 5:15pm-6:15pm | U12 4:45pm-6pm) (Commencing 22 February)

  • MiniRoos U5 to U10 -  Wednesday 5:15pm-6:15pm (Commencing 23 February)

GAME DAYS AND TIMES 

ALL GAMES (unless otherwise stated) are played at Football Bundaberg, Martens Oval (Corner of Maynard and Miller Street, Bundaberg QLD 4670). 

 

Please note that ALL Under 5 – Under 12 players meet at the field they are playing on for the day AND ALL competition ages Under 13 – Under 17 and Seniors meet at the Diggers FC dressing sheds (near Field 2/ Bar) prior to their games.

 

Please check with your coach if you are unsure what time they would like you at the game/ fields. 

2022 SEASON START DATES:

 

  • Seniors  - Friday 5/ Saturday 6 March  ​

 

  • Competition Age  - Saturday 12 March

 

  • Miniroos U5 to U12s - Saturday 26 March

WET WEATHER PROCEDURES

Training 

Diggers FC Wet Weather Policy, for training, is as follows:

Training for ALL junior teams (U6-U16) will be cancelled when there is a Heavy Storm &/or Constant Lightning during training, flooding or constant soaking rain. A light shower will NOT cause cancellation. Coaching staff and social media will be notified, no later than 1 hour prior to training. Please check our Facebook page first ( Diggers Football Club ), before contacting coaching staff. Senior training will be at the discretion of the senior coaching staff.

Game Days

Football Bundaberg control the grounds that we play on. Their ground staff, along with the head of referees, will make a decision, when there is adverse weather conditions that deem the fields unsafe to play on. Football Bundaberg will also use social media to inform all members of field closures. Please check their Facebook page ( Football Bundaberg Inc ) or go to https://fqwidebay.com/weather-updates/. Diggers Facebook page will also advertise, once informed by Football Bundaberg. If there is NO cancellation, on social media, games are on. Any changes during game day will be decided on, by the match officials, at the venue.
