The 2022 season will see the Offical Launch of Diggers Youth Academy with Ash Bratton being appointed as the Coach of the Academy. Ash will spend Term 1 this season assessing and inviting our most talented players to take part in Term 2 & 3s Elite Academy sessions, while also identifying some of our emerging talents to take part in the Emerging Academy run over the same period.
Ash has a wealth of knowledge and experience in football, coaching at all levels over the past 20+ years as well as in-depth knowledge of the Football Queensland structures serving as Wide Bay Administrator for the past 4 years.
Ash is one of the few coaches in the Wide Bay to hold a C Licence in Coaching giving Diggers a big advantage to improve not only our talented youngsters, but to help improve our coaching talent by working directly with our junior coaches.
